This is an excellent book about Billy Graham written from the perspective of his son and offering insights into how his father taught, mentored, guided and loved him over the years. Billy Graham’s utter dedication to doing the will of God and to preaching the good news of the Gospel is evident throughout as well as his humility in the midst of great success.
The chapters toward the end of the book especially pleased me as Franklin describes his Decision America Tour encouraging Christians to pray, pray, pray and to vote. The details of Billy Graham’s death and burial in 2018 are also inspiring. Read the Afterword.
Franklin Graham has a vast ministry of his own and also now heads up the Billy Graham ministry. And his son Will is following in his grandfather’s and father’s footsteps. What an amazing family. May we all aspire to be as totally committed to God and his purposes for each of us.

This was a wonderful book written by Billy Graham’s son. It was packed with information that made me as a reader just wanting to make notes and read more of Billy Graham’s books. He wrote 33 books. I had been to one of Billy Graham’s Crusade for Christ meetings in the 1960’s; it had a life altering experience on me. This is a very good Christian book to read and learn a lot of information about the Bible.

In reading this book, I saw the love and respect given to his father by Franklin Graham. It was very well written and it had a great story. The book carried Billy Graham’s message beyond the grave.

I began to read this book, thinking that we would get a lot of insight into Billy Graham’s life, works, and his private life as well. His son gives us a few looks into their family life, but then goes on to tell about his own ministry and give a mini-sermon on whatever topic that chapter covers. Honestly, I was a little disappointed in this book.

He preached the Word of God without compromise, as well as walking the path of Christ without compromise. I still listen to his preaching, and I miss him.
