Job Summary:


The Revenue Analyst role based in White Plains, NY focuses on conducting advanced data analysis and financial interpretation to optimize revenue and pricing strategies within the utility industry. Utilizing Power BI and Microsoft Excel, the analyst will analyze market data, utility tariffs, and financial information to provide actionable insights that support strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze financial, marketing, and utility tariff data to support pricing and revenue strategies.
• Perform statistical and quantitative analysis using advanced Excel functions and Power BI tools.
• Interpret data related to the utility industry and NYISO market to inform decision-making.
• Collaborate with team members to anticipate issues and propose effective solutions.
• Present complex concepts clearly to peers and stakeholders.
• Link and import data from various sources including Excel, CSV, and Access databases for comprehensive analysis.

Required Skills & Certifications:

• Advanced proficiency in Power BI.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables/charts, VLOOKUP, MATCH, OFFSET, and data linking.
• Basic knowledge of the utility industry and NYISO market.
• Intermediate understanding of economics, finance, and accounting concepts.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Math, or related discipline.
• 2 to 4 years of directly relevant analytical experience.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• MBA or other graduate degree.
• Minimum of 2 years of utility revenue, pricing, and market analysis experience.
