TestPros delivers innovative independent IT assessment solutions to critical challenges facing the nation and the world.  We support the U.S. Federal Government and Commercial clients within the continental USA. TestPros is dedicated to making lives better, safer and more secure.

TestPros is seeking participants for an onsite Smart TV accessibility and closed caption usability testing effort scheduled for August/September 2026.
Location:
Sterling, VA (onsite at the TestPros office)
Timeline:
Summer 2026
Time Commitment:
Approximately 1–2 hours
We are seeking participants representing a variety of accessibility experiences, including:

• Limited hearing / hard-of-hearing individuals
• Deaf individuals
• Cochlear implant users
• Neurodivergent individuals (including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, or similar conditions)

The testing group will include at least one participant representing each category above.
Scope of Testing:
Participants will evaluate Smart TV closed caption features and accessibility usability, including:

• Finding and enabling closed caption settings
• Navigating settings using the remote control
• Previewing caption customization options
• Font size, color, and display settings
• Readability and usability of captions
• Consistency and persistence of settings across programs and applications

No technical experience is required. Participants simply need to be willing to provide feedback regarding their experience using TV accessibility features.
Participants must be 18 years or older.

Rate: $25-45/hr. This range represents a good-faith estimate and is not a guarantee; final compensation is determined by factors such as experience, qualifications, and government contract labor rate requirements and may fall outside the stated range.
