Medical Receptionist

We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for patients. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to remain calm under pressure, and a commitment to delivering excellent patient care while supporting clinic operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist patients in a professional and empathetic manner
• Manage front desk operations including check-in/check-out processes
• Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments
• Handle incoming calls, emails, and inquiries with clear and professional communication
• Assist patients with basic information regarding services, procedures, and clinic policies
• Maintain accurate patient records and update information in the EMR system
• Ensure patient confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Support administrative tasks such as documentation, referrals, and follow-ups

Qualifications:

• Previous front desk or patient-facing experience in a clinical or healthcare setting
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to show empathy and professionalism when dealing with distressed or urgent patient situations
• Basic knowledge and navigation of EMR/EHR systems (any platform)
• Completed HIPAA awareness training or willingness to undergo training
