Job Title: Interior Design Administrative Assistant PART TIME

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Interior Design Administrative Assistant. In this role, you will provide administrative support to our interior design department and ensure the smooth flow of daily operations. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, a keen eye for design aesthetics, and a strong passion for the field of interior design.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and organize project files, documents, and records, both in physical and digital formats.
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors for project materials and ensure timely delivery.
• Assist in preparing and maintaining project budgets, purchase orders, and expense reports.
• Attend and assist with model home installations, requiring occasional travel 20-35% on average.

• Provide general administrative support to the interior design team

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; related coursework or certification in interior design or office administration is a plus.
• Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within the interior design or architecture industry.
• Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite, and project management tools.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize projects effectively.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Attention to detail and a keen eye for design aesthetics.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as in a team environment.
• Professional demeanor with a positive and friendly attitude.
• Flexibility to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
