Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Campus Refresh Technician to support facility improvement and renovation projects at a client campus in Orlando, Florida. This hands-on role focuses on interior construction, repairs, and facility refresh activities, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial construction, facility maintenance, remodeling, or building renovations, with strong skills in drywall, flooring, painting, ceiling systems, and general carpentry.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform installation, demolition, repair, and replacement of drywall and wall systems.
• Install, remove, and replace carpet and VCT (Vinyl Composition Tile) flooring.
• Perform acoustical ceiling installation, demolition, reconfiguration, and repairs.
• Complete painting projects and finish work to professional standards.
• Perform woodworking, carpentry, and general facility improvement tasks.
• Operate construction tools, equipment, and materials safely and effectively.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas while adhering to safety standards.
• Identify and resolve facility maintenance and construction-related issues.
• Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities across campus facilities.
• Assist with additional facility and construction-related duties as assigned.
• Promote a safe work environment and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Vocational training, trade school certification, or apprenticeship experience is a plus.
• Proven experience in one or more of the following:
• • Drywall installation and repair
  • Interior wall systems
  • Carpet and flooring replacement
  • Acoustical ceiling installation
  • Painting and finishing
  • Woodworking and carpentry
• Strong knowledge of construction tools, materials, and equipment.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and project requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, and move construction materials as needed.
• Knowledge of construction safety procedures and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Trade certifications in drywall, flooring, painting, carpentry, or related construction disciplines.
• Experience working on commercial, institutional, industrial, or residential renovation projects.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to adapt to changing project priorities and schedules.
