Clinical Medical AssistantUnder the direction of Advanced Practice Clinician or Medical Doctor, the Medical Assistant provides safe therapeutic care for a diverse population of university-age patients in a university setting. The State HR classification for this position is Clinical Medical Technologist 1.Required QualificationsCurrent or be eligible for at the time of hire: Medical Assistant - Certified (WA State)Demonstrated skill in working well under pressure to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.Demonstrated awareness, knowledge, and skills to interact effectively with persons representing a wide range of diverse backgrounds such as low income/underemployed populations, students of color, LGBTQ and international students.Current CPR CertificationPreferred QualificationsExperience working as a Medical AssistantExperience performing Laboratory testing and PhlebotomyBachelor's degree in Medical Technology or equivalent education/experienceMedical Assistant Phlebotomy Certification (WA State)Phlebotomy CertificationConditions of EmploymentAll employees must comply with our Immunization policies, including Proof of Rubeola Measles Immunity within 60-days of hire.
