Bible Nugget for Peaceful Sleep – Psalm 4:8

Daily Bible Nugget:

“In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety.” – Psalm 4:8

At night, our minds often replay the day’s worries and tomorrow’s uncertainties. But David’s words remind us that true rest doesn’t come from perfect circumstances—it comes from trusting God’s protection. Even in the middle of trials, we can close our eyes knowing that the Lord watches over us.

Peaceful sleep is not the absence of problems but the presence of God’s assurance. When we surrender our fears to Him, He calms our hearts and gives us the deep rest our bodies and souls need. Sleep then becomes an act of faith, a way of saying, “Lord, I trust You with my life.”

Daily Reminder: Tonight, release your worries to God—He stays awake so you can rest.
